The research entitled Survey on the Types of Speaking Assessment used by English Teachers in Purwokerto. This research aims to know the types of speaking assessment used by English teachers. This research was conducted from 15 to 19 July 2019. This research used survey method to collect the data. The subject of this research was 14 English teachers from SMA Negeri 1 Purwokerto, SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto and SMA Negeri 5 Purwokerto in the Academic Year of 2019/2020. The researcher used questionnaire and interview in collect data. The result showed that all the English teachers used 5 types of Speaking assessment. The highest percentage is Interactive assessment type on percentage is 81%.
