Abstract

The main factors causing changes in water resources are the changes in land
cover and land management that can reduce the level of groundwater recharge but
even increase the volume of runoff.
This study aimed to analyze the change of land use in Banyumas regency
using Google Earth, ArcGIS.10.3, Microsoft Excel 2007 and to assume land use in
2017 - 2026 using logarithmic equation model with Microsoft Excel 2007. It also
aimed to predict maximum volume at control points of Serayu Barrage in 2017 - 2026
using a simple linear regression analysis method with Microsoft Excel 2007.
The analysis showed that land use change for vegetation area of Banyumas
Regency from 2011 to 2016 decreased by 9.46%, while non-vegetation area increased
by 44.46%. The value of R2 = 0.57 indicated that the water increase at the maximum
level at the control point of Serayu Barrage was one of the causes triggered by the
increase of land cover. The results of the prediction of maximum volume at the
control points of Serayu in 2017 - 2026 relatively increased, namely: Q2017 = 655.55
m3 / s, Q2018 = 675.90 m3 / s, Q2019 = 693.85 m3 / s, Q2020 = 709.91 m3 / s,
Q2021 = 724.43 m3 / s, Q2022 = 737.69 m3 / s, Q2023 = 749.89 m3 / s, Q2024 =
761.18 m3 / s, Q2025 = 771.70 m3 / s, s, Q2026 = 781.53 m3 / s.
