Drivers' identification is manifested after the testing on their driving ability in their driving license. Driving license is a requirement for everyone who will drive a motorized vehicles on the road, meaning a driving license must be owned by everyone driving a motorized vehicles on the road. The objective of this study was to find out the procedure of making a driver's license and to find out the obstacles that affect the making of a driving license in the Banyumas Resort police station. The data were presented in the form of a description that is arranged systematically and logically using a normative juridical approach. Based on the research procedure of driving license (SIM) in Banyumas Resort Police Station, it can be concluded that it was in accordance with Law No.22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.
