One of the way to develop the road is with improve the quality of physical
condition the road itself to support the transportation activity. One of the asphalt layer
that will be develop is hot rolled sheet layer (HRS). The new material its possibly try for
asphalt modification is used tires waste mixture. Used tires is a waste from not worth
using wheels vehicle. In Indonesia used tires is anywhere but the utilization is very
limited. This reaserch used 0%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% variation and 3 variation of enda test,
with LATASTON pevment method and hot rolled sheet wearing course (HRS-WC)
layer, with marshall test from 5 variation sample is 5% in used tires grade with value
VIM 4.46%, VMA 22.03%, VFA 79.75%, rerata marshall stability 1872.40 kg, flow
3.50 mm and Marshall Quotient (MQ) 535.14 kg/mm.
