The research titled THE ROLE OF PPT HARAPAN ON THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AS VICTIMS OF SEXUAL HARRASHMENT IN PURBALINGGA REGENCY was carried out by normative juridical method. The objectives of this study were (1) to find out and to analyze the role of PPT HARAPAN on the protection of victims of sexual harrasment against children in Purbalingga Regency; (2) to find out the obstacles of PPT HARAPAN in protecting victims of sexual harrashment against children in Purbalingga Regency. From this study, it can be concluded that (1) PPT HARAPAN has the role of conducting medical assistance, psychological assistance, juridical assistance; (2) a. Internal obstacles included the more limited budgetary resources provided by the government compared to the cases faced, the incompatible number between human resources and the cases of sexual harrashment in Purbalingga Regency, the absence of safe shelters for victims of sexual violence during the mentoring process. b. External barriers included the community, the families of the victims and relatives of the victims themselves. They assumed that acts of sexual harrashment were a disgrace to the families of the victims and suspects so that the cases could not be identified.
