This research purposed to obtain the effect of the company’s size, profitability,
environmental performance, media coverage, the company’s age, and industry
type on the environmental disclosure. The population in this research are
companies were registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 and also
registered in assesment program of the company’s Perfomance rating in the
Management of the environment (PROPER). Sampling method used was
purposive sampling. Amount of sampling used was 55 companies. An aalytical
techniques used was multiple linear regression. Based on analytical result was
found that the company’s age, environmental performance and media coverage,
has positive effect on the environmental disclosure. While profitability, the
company’s age and industry type has no effect on the environmental disclosure.
This research is expected to being useful for the company in order to do well
environmental disclosure.
