The study examines the effect of liqudity, profitability, firm size on firm
value with capital structure as intervening variables. The population used in this
research was companies in that include in LQ45 index during 2012-2016. The
data are collected using purposive sampling technique. Sample are 24 companies
with a total sample of 120 reaserch data. The analysis technique used is multiple
linear regression analysis technique with SPSS 20 software. This research showed
that liquidity has a negative effect on capital structure. Profitability and size of
the company partially has a positive significant effect on capital structure.
Liquidity, profitability, and capital structure partially has a positive significant
effect on firm value. Firm size has a negative significant effect on firm value.
Capital structure can mediate the relationship of liquidity on firm value. Capital
structure cannot mediate the relationship of profitability and firm size to firm
value.
