This study aims to figure out marketing distribution, margin, and
marketing problems of crystal brown sugar faced by producers and sellers in
Gumelem Kulon Village, Susukan Sub-district of Banjarnegara Regency. The
method used in this study is survey. The data are collected through direct
interview to the 40 producers, one distributor, and one retailer as the respondents
who were selected through census.
The result, shows that there are three types of marketing distributions; (1)
direct selling, (2) producers distributor than to consumer (PT. Pondok Jaya
Purbalingga), (3) producers to distributor retailer (other districts) and lastly to
consumers. The marketing margin on Marketing Distribution II and III is equal
with Rp 3.000 /kg, while there is no margin on Marketing Distribution I. One side
of price determination, mold - brown sugar selection, connection between
producers and consumers. For are the main problems 0f the prodecers of brown
sugar. While for the distributor is marketing period, of and then for the retailer is
capital.
