The purposes of the research were; (1) to reveal students’ habit in using GT; (2) to know the correlation between students’ habit in using GT and students’ translation mark; (3) to know the correlation between GT and the vocabularies of students’ translation; and (4) to know the correlation between GT and the grammar of students’ translation. The writer analyzed the students’ translation compared with Google Translate translation to know the correlation between Google Translate and both vocabularies and grammar of students’ translation.
This research used descriptive qualitative method. To know the correlation between the students’ habit in using Google translate and students’ translation mark, the writer used product-moment formula first, then analyzed the students’ translation compared with Google Translate translation to know the correlation between Google Translate and both vocabularies and grammar of students translation.
The result of the research showed that only 31 % of the sample who had the high intensity in using Google Translate. And based on the calculation of product moment showed that r-test was higher than r-table (0, 99 > 0,532). After the students’ translation were analyzed showed that there was no significant correlation between Google Translate and both vocabularies and grammar of students’ translation.
