Every year, thousands of student candidate from almost all part of Indonesia
come to UMP to acquire knowladge. As new students, they surely do not understand the
sketch of the buildings and information in UMP. Therefore, they need an accurate
information. Due to the development of the technology, the researcher made a design in
3 dimensional image about the buildings in UMP to ease the information. The aim of this
research is to design and build the 3-dimentional modelling application of UMP sketch or
map using virtual reality. This application was made using multimedia development of
Luther version consisting of concept planning, designing, material collecting, creating,
experimenting, and distributing. The data source gained was from the observation result
in UMP and the result of literature study. The result of this developed application was
that it gives the 3-dimensional visualization and the building information in UMP.
