Abstract

This research aimed to improve the students’ mathematic comprehension
concept using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) on the topic of Cube and Block. The subject of
this research was the students of class VIII E SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto.
The research was conducted in 3 cycles, in which consisted of 2 meetings. Each
cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing, evaluation and refelction. To get
the mathematic mathematic comprehension concept, the students were given the
evaluation of comprehension concept in the end of the cycle. Based on the result
of the cycle I,II, and III, the aveage point of comprehension concept raised from
2,54 to 2,97 and then raised to 3,38. The conclusion of the research was that the
CPS learning with ICT aided could improve the students’ mathematic
comprehension concept in class VIII E SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto.
