Diarrhea is defecate with faces shape liquid and semi liquid. Diarrhea is
one intecsiouses can attack gender. The aim of this research to know
characteristic from pediatry in diarrhea patient based on gender and age in
Hospotal that area Cilacap, 2009. And then to know fit of therapy using antibiotic
to pediatry diarrhea, that consist of the use of most types of antibiotic, the way of
giving and the long of giving antibiotic in Hospital that area Cilacap for, 2009
based on Standart Service Medical (SPM) Hospital that area Cilacap and Dinkes.
The research was done with using retrospective method andthen the research was
analysed with descriptive non analytic from medical data. Sampel that be taken
totally with the total of sampel is 170 patient.
The results of research show that the most of patient is baby the total 112
patient (65,89 %), based on gender the most of total diarrhea is man the total is
94 patient (55,30 %) For the type of antibiotics based on SPM Hospital in that
area Cilacap 0 % and then of Dinkes is 2,94 %. For the accurate dosage
antibiotic based on SPM Hospital in that area Cilacap 0 % and SPM Dinkes is
61,18 %. The suitable of giving and long giving antibiotic cannot be analysed
with therapy standart be used.
