This research aimed to figure out tourist participation in supporting eco-tourism management in Cilacap Regency.
This research used survey method. Primary data were taken by using interview covering, perception, stance and tourist participation. Secondary data were obtained through documentation covering tourist visit data and profile of tourism object through related agency. Population in this research was all tourists and collecting technique was conducted by purposive sampling with total samples of 30 tourists. The collecting data was done used documentation and interview. The processing data was done by classifying the perception category and the stance from bad category till the best one. While the participation level start from the low level till the high one. The descriptive was used to analyze the data.
The result of tourist’s perception and stance in supporting eco-tourism management in Cilacap is in decent category, due to the whole samples of tourist’s had decent perception and stance category in giving perception about the availability of rest area. Tourist participation is moderate due to the low responsibility of the tourist’s, in this case was in the rehabilitation of Mangrove.
