The purpose of company is to maximize the welfare of stakeholder, it can be achieved by maximalizing the firm size. This research aimed to know the effect of variable price earning ratio, leverage, and profitability toward the firm value proxy by Tobin’s Q.
The samples of this research are indexed firm LQ45 listed in Indonesia stock exchange in 2012-2014 as many as 111 sampled by using purposive sampling, while the analysis method was using multiple linier regression.
This research showed (1) price earning ratio negatively significant affect toward the firm value (2) leverage positively affect firm value (3) profitability positively affect the firm value. Then, the estimated regression showed the predicition ability from 3 independent variables toward firm value was 78,2% while the rest 22,8% will be belong to the out of research variables’ explanation.
