Abstract
The research aimed at finding proof of the effect of corporate governance index,
family ownership, institusional ownership, managerial ownership, and the size of
company towards the debt cost. The subject of the research was 25 companies
which selected by using purposive sampling. The result showed that the corporate
governance index did not negatively affect the debt cost. The family ownership
did not affect the debt cost. The institutional ownership did not affect the debt
cost. The managerial ownership did not negatively the debt cost as well.
