The study was aimed at finding out the effects of variables of
managerial ownership, institusional ownership, board of commissioner,
independent commicsioner and board of directors to the value of company as
projected in the Price Book Value (PBV).
The sample of the study was the real estate and property companies
listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the periode 2008-2012 with a number of
samples of 61 companies, take by purposive sampling. The analysis was done
using multiple linear regression.
Based on the result of analysis, it could be concluded that variables of
managerial ownership, institusional ownership, independent commissioners, and
board of directors individually have no significant effect to the companies. The
only variable having a significant effect to the value of companies is the board of
commissioner. However, all variables observed simultaneously have a significant
effect to the value of companies. The result of regression estimation shows that
the prediction impact of these variables is only 27,5% and the rest of 72,5%
belongs to other factors beyond the research.
