Research entitled "Discourse Perfection Aspect of "Kawanku" Rubric in Kedaulatan Rakyat Newspaper, aim to description the discourse perfection aspect of "Kawanku" rubric in Kedaulatan Rakyat Newspaper.
This Research Type was descriptive research. Method in this research consisted in three research step that were: (1) levying data step. In this research was data taken away from 62 discourse at "Kawanku" rubric in Kedaulatan Rakyat Newspaper on Sunday edition. After selected by throwing data which no needed was obtained 243 data to be analyzed. From 243 data founded 194 cohesion data and 49 coherency data. (2) Analyze Data Step. This research was used a distribute method and correspond method. Distribute method was method by means determinant was part of language itself. Correspond method is method was means the determinant outside, escaped, and didn’t become the part of language (pertinent langue). (3) Presentation result of analysis step. In this research was presentation result of analysis used the formal and nonformal method.
Result of research indicate that in discourse at "Kawanku" rubric in Kedaulatan Rakyat Newspaper there are aspect of discourse intact covering of cohesion discourse intact aspect and coherence discourse intact aspect. Cohesion discourse intact aspect founded divisible into two groups that is grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. Cohesion grammatical aspect founded in reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction form. Cohesion lexical aspect founded in the repetition, synonymy, antonym, collocation, hyponymy, and equivalency form. While coherence discourse intact aspect founded in the causality, contrast, additive, detail of, temporal, perian, possessive, chronological, election relation, result-condition relation, and target relation.
