The change of president and vice president election mechanism from representative
system to direct election system, is an significant advance for democracy progress in
the country with is in the period of democracy progress transition. Therefore, the
space for people participant will be broader. The aim of the research was aimed at
designing a quick count application and responding people’s response toward this
quick count application. The variable that was used in this application development
of quick count message system is the amount of valid vote, invalid vote, the amount
of data of president candidates and the amount of data of voting area. The result of
research is message quick count application with php in presidential election 2014 in
south purwokerto subdistrict. This application is able to ease people in getting fast
information result of presidential election. By using parralell vote tabulation system
method, it can give fast voting result.
