The research entitled A Study on Conversation Principle in Mblaketaket
Rubrics Radar Banyumas Newspaper in October – November 2013 was aimed to
describe the disobedience to the working and politeness principles in Mblaketaket
rubric which created a humor.
This was descriptive qualitative research. The data were obtained from
disobedience of speech to the Conversation principle in Mblaketaket rubric Radar
Banyumas Newspaper published in October – November 2013. The research applied
three stages from the data collection, data analysis and presentation of the findings.
For collecting the data, the researcher used reading carefully, SBLC and notes
techniques then the data were classified based on the group. For analyzing the data, it
applied equal referential and equal pragmatic. The third stage was presentation
through informal method.
It was obtained that 45 speeches in disobedience to Conversation principle
gathered from 22 disobedience of teamwork principle, 23 disobedience of politeness
principle. In detail, disobedience of teamwork principle could be describe as follows;
2 disobedience of quantity maxim, 9 disobedience of quality maxim, 3 disobedience
of relevance maxim, and 8 disobedience of implementation maxim. While the
disobedience of politeness principle could be mentioned as follows; 5 disobedience of
policy maxim, 1 disobedience of acceptance maxim, 6 disobedience of generousness
maxim, 6 disobedience of low profile maxim, 4 disobedience of appropriateness
maxim, and 1 disobedience sympathy maxim.
