Abstract
Education is a process by which individuals or groups acquire, develop, and transform their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior with the aim of improving human existence through guidance, direction, and training. The only method to increase human potential as a whole, including the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed, is through education.
The educational goals above can be achieved by involving all the main components. The main components include the curriculum, teachers or teacher performance, students, methods, models, techniques, strategies, learning media and also infrastructure. Schools as an institution that provides services must be able to create quality services.
One of the planning activities is controlling activities carried out by the school principal where the aim is to help teachers deal with all problems that occur in the learning process. Controlling carried out by the school principal in its implementation requires maximum planning so that maximum results can be obtained which in essence can improve teacher performance. Quality education really depends on the performance of a teacher. This research aims to: (1) Describe a picture of the head's managerial effectiveness in improving the performance of school teachers. (2) Principal managerial implementation to improve learning in schools. (3) The managerial effectiveness of school principals on learning in the Kartini Cluster, Wanadadi District.
This research uses descriptive qualitative with case study research methods. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Wanakarsa, SD Negeri 1 Karangkemiri, SD Negeri 2 Karangkemiri, SD Negeri 1 Lemahjaya, and SD Negeri 2 Lemahjaya. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documents. Data analysis uses data analysis techniques which include three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. After that, the data was tested for validity using a credibility test using triangulation. Based on research in the field (1) the description of the head's managerial effectiveness is going well: (2) the headmaster's managerial implementation to improve learning in schools is going well with planning, implementation and follow-up: (3) The headmaster's managerial effectiveness towards learning in Gugus Kartini District Wanadi is carried out to control learning activities.
