Abstract

Online gaming use has become a significant phenomenon among learners,
with the potential to affect their learning achievement. This study investigates
the impact of online gaming use on social interactions and its implications for
learning outcomes, learning motivation and concentration, and cognitive
abilities. The discussion outlines a number of important findings from the
relevant literature, highlighting the positive and negative impacts of online
gaming use in the educational context, how children's social interactions in the
school environment. When teaching and learning activities take place at school,
researchers found several discoveries made by students, from low to high class
students at 07.00 in the morning were already at school, when entering the class
I focused on observing in the high class, namely class VI. The findings are that
class VI has 19 students. In the process of teaching and learning activities,
almost all students are active, although there are 3 to 5 students who are passive
when in the classroom. Students who are active during learning, it turns out that
they do not only discuss about the ongoing lesson, but there are several
arguments from students discussing outside the theme of the lesson. Students
discuss the previous day's lesson, there are also those who discuss the games
played by students. Not only online games are discussed, but there are offline
games as well. Of all the students.
