Abstract
The background of this research is the existence of the Pancasila Student
Strengthening Project Programme from the Merdeka Curriculum by taking the
theme of the Local Wisdom of the School Literacy Movement. Taking the school
literacy movement in the programme is expected that students, especially in
general, school residents have good literacy. The implementation of the Pancasila
Student Strengthening Project is a project activity to strengthen the profile of
Pancasila students with the main objectives of maintaining the noble values and
morals of the nation, readiness to become a world community for the realisation
of social justice, and achieving competence. This study aims to look at the
implementation of local wisdom values in grade X students at SMA Negeri 1
Purwareja Klampok. This activity is to support the School Literacy Movement
programme launched by the government, as reflected in Permendikbud no.23 of
2015 concerning Budi Pekerti Education which is realised through the
implementation of the School Literacy Movement from primary to secondary
school levels. The results of this study show: (1) the implementation of the school
literacy movement at SMA Negeri 1 Purwareja Klampok is realised by
implementing several programmes, including: the formation of a school literacy
movement team, student mentoring by homeroom teachers and facilitators, the
provision of workshops to increase knowledge about the school literacy
movement, student work after implementing the implementation of local wisdom
values One Class One Book. (2) The supporting factors for this programme are:
school community participation, high student enthusiasm, conducive school
environment, support from parents. While the challenges of this programme
include: the low quality and involvement of all teachers in the literacy programme,
the lack of support from the education unit, and the lack of time for capacity
building for school stakeholders. Therefore, the solutions to overcome the
problem of implementing local wisdom values in grade X students of SMA
Negeri 1 Purwareja Klampok are: organising special workshops for teachers
related to the six dimensions of literacy, increasing children's capacity more than
just reading and writing, providing 15 minutes before the lesson starts students are
accompanied by the first hour subject teacher to read free reading with the results
of the reading they will write and submit to the teacher. The method used in this
research is to understand and observe phenomena and objects about what is
happening, such as behaviour, perception, motivation, and action. This research
approach is a qualitative approach by using data triangulation in retrieving,
processing and generating data.
