This research aims to determine the production costs, income, feasibility,
level of production risk and income risk of shelled corn farming in Linggasari
Village. This research was carried out in Linggasari Village, Kembaran District,
Banyumas Regency from May to June 2024. The research method used was a
quantitative descriptive method using primary data and secondary data. Sampling
collected data on all respondents with a total of 34 shelled corn farmers in
Linggasari Village, Kembaram District, Banyumas Regency. Based on the
calculation results, production costs in one planting season are IDR 1,003,872,
with farmer income amounting to IDR 9,202,398. the feasibility analysis of
shelled corn farming in Linggasari Village shows that it is feasible with an R/C of
3. In running a shelled corn farming business, farmers are faced with two risks,
namely production risk and income risk. The calculation results of these two risks
show that shelled corn farming in Linggasari Village is classified as low because
CV<0.5 and L>0.5. Production risks are caused by pest attacks, disease and the
influence of unpredictable climate or weather. Meanwhile, the income risk is
changes in input prices and fluctuations in output prices.
