Abstract
Improving workplace safety is a critical priority in reducing risks within a company. The
potential for workplace accidents, such as being buried by materials, being struck by falling
objects, or accidents involving work tools, can lead to decreased employee performance. This
study aimed to determine the effect of occupational safety and health (K3) using the Job Safety
Analysis (JSA) method on worker productivity in the concrete production department at PT.
Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk. PPB Subang. The sample was collected using total sampling,
involving all 31 staff members of the concrete production team, consisting of 9 permanent
employees and 22 skilled workers. The results indicated that occupational safety and health
significantly impacted worker productivity, with a significance level of 0.05, and K3 contributed
87.9% to work productivity. The risk control analysis using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
method discovered that the high-risk level of work accidents was reduced to a moderate level
for tasks such as loading sand material into the hopper and concrete density testing. Other
results indicated that the moderate risk level of work accidents was reduced to a low level for
tasks such as loading cement into the silo, loading cement into the truck mixer, loading sand
into the pan mixer, and loading materials. However, lifting U-ditches with a crane remained a
high-risk activity. The recommended control measures included using personal protective
equipment (PPE).
