Abstract
Digital literacy is a form of capability to acquire, understand, and use information from various sources in digital form. The implementation of digital literacy offers many benefits for the advancement of educational institutions. By utilizing digital media and resources, teachers and students can become more actively engaged in the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of digital literacy in the Tarikh subject for 7th-grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Sumbang.
This study is a qualitative research. The subjects of this research are the school principal, history teachers, and 7th-grade students. Data collection methods involve interviews, observations, and documentation.
The results indicate that the implementation of digital literacy in history learning begins with planning and providing facilities for students. Subsequently, history teachers offer guidance during the learning process. The implementation of digital literacy has been shown to enhance the interest of 7th-grade students in history lessons at SMP Muhammadiyah Sumbang.
