Indonesia is one of the largest sengon producers because the climate and
temperature are suitable for the growth of sengon plants. Sengon nurseries in
Banjaranyar Village are carried out in rainfed rice fields. Risk management is a
tool that can help farmers make decisions in dealing with risks. This research aims
1) to determine the income of the sengon nursery farming business, 2) to determine
the feasibility of the sengon nursery farming business, 3) to determine the risks of
farmers in cultivating sengon nurseries in Banjaranyar Village, Sokaraja District,
Banyumas Regency.
This research was conducted in Banjaranyar Village in February-July 2024.
This research is a type of survey research and uses the census method. The
population of this study consisted of 25 respondents. The analytical tools used are
income analysis, business feasibility analysis and risk analysis. The results of this
research are that the average income of sengon farming is IDR 27,043,905.00 in
each planting season. The R/C Ratio value is 2.25. Sengon seed farming
experiences low risks in terms of production, in terms of costs and terms of income.
