Abstract
The Quran is a holy book for Muslims that must be read as a guide in everyday life. For this reason, it is important for Muslims to learn how to read the Quran properly and correctly according to the science of tajwid. To bridge the above needs, Muslims have several tajwid science guidebooks, one of which is the Syifaul Jinan Book. This study aims to examine the use of the Syifaul Jinan Book to study tajwid for early childhood.
This study uses a qualitative approach, and this type of research is field research with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis with the sequence of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The analysis model uses a descriptive model, where the collected data will be analyzed so that the data obtained can be described to draw conclusions.
Based on the information obtained by the author, learning the science of tajwid using the Syifaul Jinan book can be done with three methods, namely, the lecture method, the practice method, and the memorization method. In learning, steps are used such as the ustadz reading the nadzoman then translating it, and the students repeating it. The results of learning the science of tajwid using the Syifaul Jinan book are classified as successful, because children are able to accept all the material and are able to apply it in the practice of reading the Qur'an. The grouping of abilities from the learning outcomes is, high-level abilities, medium-level abilities, and low-level abilities. In this learning, there are difficulties such as different student abilities, weak memory, and different pronunciation abilities of the hijaiyah letters. So as a teacher, you must have the right way such as using the right learning media, ready to face students. The supporting factors for this learning process are, basic material that is easy to understand, easy to apply, interaction between ustadz and students, and motivation from yourself or others.
