Law Number 24 of 2007 defines a disaster as an event that threatens and disrupts the lives and livelihoods of the community. Disasters can be caused by natural, non-natural, or human factors, resulting in human casualties. Factors that can influence landslides include high rainfall, slope steepness, and geological conditions in the area. The Gumelar District is an area with slopes ranging from 0-8% to 40%. The research used a quantitative descriptive method. The data processing technique used hazard mapping, focusing on the physical aspects to assess the significance level. In this research, several physical factors are considered to contribute to landslide occurrences. The results of this study show that the Gumelar District has three vulnerability levels: high, moderate, and low. High vulnerability is found in eight out of ten villages in Gumelar District, namely Karangkmojing, Gancang, Kedungurang, Cilangkap, Paningkaban, Tlaga, Samudra, and Samudra Kulon Villages. Meanwhile, there is moderate vulnerability in Cihonje Village, and low vulnerability is identified in Gumelar Village
