The objective of this study is (1) to determine the Profile of the farmer group,
(2) to The Performance of Nutmeg Agribusiness System in the Harapan
Mekar Farmer Group in Sumpinghayu Village, Dayeuhluhur understand the
Performance of Nutmeg Agribusiness in the group, and to (3) identify the
constraints and solutions faced by the farmer group during the
implementation of nutmeg agribusiness system in Sumpinghayu village. This
research was conducted in the Harapan Mekar Farmer Group in
Sumpinghayu Village, Dayeuhluhur District, Cilacap Regency, from
December 2023 to January 2024. The research method used was survey, with
purposive sampling technique for sample selection. Data collection methods
included observation and direct interviews with respondents who were
determined using a questionnaire prepared in advance. Data processing was
conducted through tabulation followed by descriptive analysis with a
qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the profile of the
farmer group was established since 2008 with Mr. Sanen as the first
chairman. The Nutmeg Agribusiness Performance includes: Production
Facility Procurement Subsystem, where farmers still use simple agricultural
tools purchased from stores in Sumpinghayu Village, agricultural inputs used
by farmers include fertilizers and pesticides, while seedlings used by farmers
are purchased from nutmeg seedling entrepreneurs in Sumpinghayu Village,
with a height of one meter and plant age of one year, priced at IDR.
