Financial performance is one of the factors seen by potential investors to determine
stock investment. For a company, maintaining and improving financial performance is a must
so that its shares continue to exist and remain in demand by investors. This research aims to
examine the influence of liquidity, solvency, sales growth, company size and environmental
performance on financial performance.
This type of research is quantitative using secondary data obtained from the website
www.idx.co.id and the population in this research is food & beverage sub-sector manufacturing
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The sample in this study The
sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling method, so that 15 companies
were obtained that met the data sample selection criteria. Data analysis was carried out using a
multiple linear regression model, while to measure significance a partial test (T test) and a
simultaneous test (F test) were carried out using SPSS 24 software.
The results of this research are based on partial test results (T test) showing that
liquidity, solvency, company size and environmental performance do not have a significant
effect on financial performance, while sales growth has a significant effect on financial
performance. Meanwhile, based on the results of the simultaneous test (F test), it shows that
liquidity, solvency, sales growth, company size and environmental performance simultaneously
(together) have a significant effect on financial performance.
