This research aims to determine the profile of the Berkah farmer group
consisting of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) farmers, the obstacles and
solutions faced by the Berkah farmer group in increasing the productivity of
cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) farming, and the role of the Berkah
farmer group in increasing productivity. Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.)
farming in Mranggen Kidul Village, Bansari District, Temanggung Regency.
The method used in this research is a case study with a quantitative and
qualitative approach. The sampling technique in this research was to use saturated
samples. The number of respondents consisted of 24 cayenne pepper farmers
(Capsicum frutescens L.).
The research results show obstacles faced by farmers who are members of
the Berkah Farming Group in increasing the productivity of chili plants are the lack
of interest of members to take part in agricultural extension, the difficulty of
receiving new material, ineffective meeting schedules, busy group members, not
farming. business partners and no group capital. The solution is through group
counseling, individual counseling, cultivation training, rescheduling meeting
schedules, purchasing fertilizer elsewhere and making sudden donations when
group costs are needed. Meanwhile, the role of the Berkah farmer group in carrying
out its duties as a learning class is said to be very instrumental with a total score of
263. The role of the Berkah farmer group in carrying out its duties as a vehicle for
cooperation is said to be very instrumental with a total score of 242. The role of the
Berkah farmer group in carrying out its duties as a production unit is said to be less
role. with a total score of 157. So the role of the blessing farmer group in increasing
the productivity of cayenne pepper farming (Capsicum frutescens L.) in Mranggen
Kidul Village, Bansari District, Temanggung Regency is said to have played a role
