Abstract

Geothermal energy has a major role and has vital value as one of the national energy sources that contribute to supporting sustainable national development. The construction of these geothermal power plants involves massive water extraction in highland areas, which in turn affects groundwater systems and the growth circulation of green areas. The purpose of this study is to find out how to solve the impact of air pollution from geothermal power plants, as well as find out what obstacles are experienced in the process of solving the impact of air pollution. The method used in this study is juridical normative with descriptive research specification analysis. Based on research conducted by researchers, it was found that the form of settlement of the impact of air pollution between PT Geo Dipa Energi Unit Dieng on the victims was mediation which resulted in an agreement for compensation suffered by the victims.
