This research aims to find out the profile of the Gemah Ripah Farmers Group and
its members, the role of the Gemah Ripah Farmers Group in increasing chili
production, and the challenges and solutions faced by the Gemah Ripah Farmers
Group in Batumirah Village, Bumijawa District, Tegal Regency. Qualitative and
quantitative descriptive analysis was used as the method in this investigation. In
this study, both primary and secondary data were used. This study included all 25
chilli farmers who are members of the Gemah Ripah growers Group, using the
census sampling technique. The results of the study show that PT. Crowde
partners with the 137 farmers, 25 of whom grow chilli, who make up the Gemah
Ripah Farmers Group, which was founded in 1981. With an overall average score
of 327.33, the Gemah Ripah Farmers Group's contribution to increasing the output
of chili in Batumirah Village is rated as considerable in carrying out its tasks and
activities. The Gemah Ripah Farmers Group faces difficulties in boosting chili
production, including problems with fertilizer, pests and diseases, and pricing
issues.
