Abstract
The problem in cucumber cultivation lies in its low productivity due to suboptimal cultivation techniques. One of the efforts to enhance cucumber productivity is administering concentrations of Growth Regulator "Pendawa Subur Tunas" (ZPT) and doses of White KNO3 fertilizer. This research aims to determine the effect of the concentration of Growth Regulator "Pendawa Subur Tunas" and doses of White KNO3 fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). The study was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, from February to April 2023. The research employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors: ZPT factor with levels: P0: 0 ml/l, P1: 25 ml/l, P2: 50 ml/l, P3: 75 ml/l, and White KNO3 factor with levels: K0: 0 g/tan, K1: 4 g/tan, and K2: 8 g/tan. The collected data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by the DMRT 5% test. Based on the research results, it can be drawn that the application of ZPT concentrations to cucumber plants contributes no significant effect on all observed variables. The administration of White KNO3 doses to cucumber plants significantly affected variables such as plant length at 7-35 days after planting; leaf counts at 14-35 days after planting, and the diameter of the first harvested fruit. The combination of ZPT and White KNO3 has no significant effect on all observed variables.
