This research aims to figure out the profile of rice farmers using the Jajar
Legowo 2 planting system regarding their harvest results, identify the
various production factors affecting rice farming with the Jajar Legowo 2
planting system, and assess the influence of these various production factors
on increasing production yields. The research methodology used is
quantitative descriptive. The population consists of all farmers in Kesugihan
Village, Kesugihan District. Since the population is less than 100, a census
sampling system was used. Based on the analysis, 51 percent of the farmers
are male, and the most dominant education level is primary school or
equivalent. The various production factors influencing rice farming with the
Jajar Legowo 2 planting system include land area, seeds, fertilizers, and
labor. The majority of farmers use Mapan 05 seeds, with an average usage
of 15.75 kg/ha. They also use an average of 300 kg/ha of urea fertilizer, and
a significant portion still relies on manual labor. Partially, variables such as
Age, Labor, Fertilizers, and Seeds have an impact on rice harvest results.
On the other hand, variables like Education, Years of Farming Experience,
and Land Area do not have a significant influence on rice harvest results in
Kesugihan Village, Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency. It is recommended
that maximum production can be achieved if farmers implement the Jajar
Legowo system and use fertilizers and seeds according to recommendations.
