The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of asset structure, profitability,
company size, and liquidity on capital structure, which is proxied by DER (Debt
to Equity Ratio) in Islamic commercial bank companies listed in the OJK for the
period 2015-2019. The independent variable in this study is the capital structure,
profitability, company size, and liquidity, while the dependent variable is the
capital structure (DER). The population in this study were Islamic commercial
bank companies in the 2015-2019 period. The data collection teclmique used was
purposive sampling, in order to obtain a sample of 14 companies with 64 data that
match the criteria. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive
statistics, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis test, statistical
hypothesis test Based on the results of this study indicate that the variable asset
structure, profitability has no effect on capital structure. However, other variables,
namely company size have a positive effect on capital structure and liquidity has a
negative effect on capital structure.
