The purposes of research is to examine the effect of interest rate, inflation rate, Indonesia Composite Index, Hang Seng Index and rupiah exchange rate towards the return of mutual fund in Indonesia. The pupolation are 12 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2016. This research used purposive sampling method. The number of samples are 36 company observations. This research used multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The result indicates that Indonesia Composite Index has positive effect toward the return of mutual fund, meanwhile the interest rate of SBI, inflation, Hang Seng Index and rupiah exchange rate have no effect toward the return of mutual fund. Finally, the research is expected gives significant contribution to the investors in increasing the return of their mutual fund
