The rise of fanaticism and racism cases that occur in the community that originates from social, cultural, political, and religious issues has resulted in divisions between individuals or groups that are not in harmony with the 3rd precepts of Pancasila and the norms in Islam contained in Al -Qur'an. Multicultural education from the perspective of the Koran is considered very important to learn in order to live side by side in peace and serenity. This study aims to determine the multicultural education perspective of the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat verses 9-13.
Multicultural Education Research from the perspective of Al-Qur'an interpretation is a type of library research, namely this research in which the research object is explored from various library sources, using a qualitative approach. The data sources used are divided into two, namely primary data that comes directly from commentary books and also translations of the Koran and secondary data, namely through books and journals that are relevant to the problem under study. Data analysis techniques with content analysis method (content analysis), namely the deductive method.
This study shows that the multicultural education contained in Surah al-Hujurat verses 9-13 is based on the commentators, namely that all humans have the same degree in the eyes of Allah SWT, the only difference is their piety. then we as humans must always do good by not prejudice, backbiting or gossiping about others. mutual respect, respect and peaceful social life. avoid things that can cause quarrels because in fact all humans created by God are brothers.
