Abstract

The application of the integrated Islamic curriculum at the Harapan Bunda 2
Purwokerto Islamic Elementary School is the implementation of curriculum
development in the education unit. The content of the national curriculum is
combined with an integrated Islamic curriculum. This integration is expected to
complement and complement each other. One of the aims of the integrated
curriculum used at SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto is to strengthen the principle
of Islamic education that there is no dichotomy in Islamic education between
general science and religious knowledge. The other goals are no different from the
goals of national education, namely to form human beings with good character.
Resilience Character is a good character that should exist in students. Namely the
ability to adapt, tough in any situation and condition. Some of the indicators are
emotion regulation, self control, confidence, optimism, able to analyze the causes
of problems, empathy and able to take lessons from an event. The results of the
study indicate that the implementation of an integrated Islamic curriculum
administratively has been seen, this is an indicator that there is a curriculum
development process at SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto. The implementation
in learning activities has not been maximized due to several things, including the
lack of teacher knowledge about Islam, not understanding how to relate the material
to the verses of the Qur'an, no technical instructions or manuals, lack of consistency
of teachers in implementing it in the classroom. The application of an integrated
Islamic curriculum to the formation of resilient characters is seen flowing in the
daily activities of students, there is interaction from teachers to students in oral form
and written rules as school rules. In addition, school programs that are full of
religious values indirectly form a resilient character. learners. Implementation
constraints are more influenced by the human resources of teachers and students.
Not all teachers have concern and consistently strengthen the character of resilience
in students. Another obstacle is the character of students who are not easy to be
conditioned because of the background factors of parenting at home.
