This research aims to determine (1) the production costs of the dairy cow milk business at Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative in 2011-2018, (2) The income of the business in 2011-2018, (3) Social benefits of the cooperative towards the community around the cooperative, (4) The economic feasibility of the dairy cow milk production business in 2011-2018.
The research location is at Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative which is located on Jalan Raya Karangkemiri KM 6, Karangkemiri Village, Karanglewas Sub-district of Banyumas Regency in November 2019 to July 2020. The method used in this research was case study. Data sources consist of respondents, and documents or archives. The type of data research was prime and secondary data. Data collection was in the form of interviews, document study and observation.
The results show that (1) The production cost of dairy cow milk business at Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative in 2011 was IDR 5,021,210,731; 2012, amounting to IDR 11,958,744,359; 2016 amounting to IDR 11,581,086,221; 2017 amounting to IDR 11,392,389,476 and 2018 amounting to IDR 10,851,250,737, (2) The income of Dairy cow milk production business of Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative in 2011 amounted to IDR 87,737,302.62; 2012 amounting to IDR 207,103,288.34; 2013 amounting to IDR 267,359,246.46, 2014 amounting to IDR 194,978,425.93; 2015 amounting to IDR 284,992,264.86; 2016 amounting to IDR 488,777,267.8; 2017 amounting to IDR 347.772638.16; and 2018 amounting to IFR 521,850,443.70, (3) The social benefits of the Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative to the community around the cooperative, namely Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) Mart services and job opportunities for the surrounding community, (4) The economic feasibility of the dairy farming business at Satria Milba Farmer Cooperative in 2011-2018 was stated feasible because the results of the Net Present Value analysis with a DF of 10%,12%, 15% and 20% was worth more than 0. The cooperative has also exceeded the BEP price and BEP unit.
