This study aims to determine the effect of the dose and and size of rice husk biochar on the agronomic character of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research was conducted from January to March 2021, at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This study used a two-component randomized block design (RAK), or the dose factor and the size factor. The results of this study show that (1) The amount of biochar responed significantly to the number of leaves and pH (2) The number of branches and the quality of fruit was considerably effected by the size of the biochar.
