This research aimed to 1) Find out the process of sugar production in
Sragi Sugar Factory in Pekalongan Regency; 2) Find out the raw material supply
at Sragi Sugar Factory which consisted of the number of economic orders, safety
stock and reorder points; 3) Find out the cost efficiency of raw material supply at
Sragi Sugar Factory in Pekalongan Regency. It was used a case study methods.
The data were collected by doing interviews, observations and documentation.
EOQ Analysis, Safety Stock, Reorder Point and Cost Efficiency were used to
determine the supply of sugar cane raw material supply at Sragi Sugar Factory in
Pekalongan Regency.
The results showed that 1) The average amount of sugar cane raw
material supply according to EOQ method was 2,520.14 tons, it did not have a
safety stock and the reorder point value was 1,401.47 tons; 2) The average
difference in the total cost of sugar cane raw material supply after using EOQ
method with the average total cost of sugar cane raw material supply was 3,23
billion rupiah; 3) The amount of sugar cane raw material supply was not
economical with no safety stock and the reorder point value was in the same
position as the amount of the available sugar cane raw material supply at Sragi
Sugar Factory; 4) The total cost of sugar cane raw material supply in procuring
the supply had not reached an efficient level.
