This study aims to find empirical evidence the effect of managerial ownership, independent commissioner, audit committee effectiveness and firm size on external auditor choice. The population in this study was manufacture companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2018 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method, obtained 52 companies as samples with 142 observation data. The hypothesis in this study was tested using logistic regression analysis tools. Based on the result of the study it can be concluded that the audit committee effectiveness and firm size have a positive effect on external auditor choice, while managerial ownership and independent commissioner have not effect on external auditor choice.
