Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of ROA, DER, NPM,
and ROE on stock prices of banking companies. The population in this research
are banking sector companiesnlisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2017-
2020 period. The sample selection in this study was done by purposive sampling.
Based on the criteria, there were 41 companies as samples. The data analysis
techniques used in the research are Descriptiv Statistical Test, Classical
Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test, and Hypothesis Testing. The
results of the analysis show that partially ROA has a positive effect on stock
prices, DER has a negative effect on stock prices, NPM has no effect on stock
prices and ROE has a negative effect on stock prices.
