The provision of health insurance is very important given to the community,
especially workers both working in a private or government-owned institution.
The provision of health insurance is due to the risks posed by very high, or
uncertainty about what will happen to be faced by workers. Provision of health
insurance for workers is expected to reduce the concern for workers of the risks
that will be obtained while working. Like the guarantee for workers or the rights
and obligations of workers regulated in Law No. 3 of 2013 concerning
Employment. This study uses normative juridical methods. Normative juridical
methods are carried out through literature studies that examine mainly secondary
data in the form of legislation, court rulings, agreements, contracts, or other legal
documents, as well as research results, results of studies, and other references.
Normative juridical methods can be supplemented by interviews, discussions
(focus group discussions), and hearing meetings. The results of this study are that
the legal protection of health insurance for workers has been done well. Since the
promulgation of health insurance for workers so that workers do not have
excessive concern over the risks to be gained while working.
