This assessment aims to describe the quality of the items in the online final
examination of Bahasa Indonesia subject for grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Bumiayu in
the even semester of 2019/2020 academic year. This was quantitative descriptive
research. The data source was eleventh-grade students and the data used were the
students' answer sheets. The data were collected using the documentation technique.
The questions were analyzed based on validity, reliability, discriminating power,
difficulty level, and distractor effectiveness. The data were analyzed using the Anates
V4 program. The results of this research indicated that 3 items were categorized as
feasible, 9 items should be revised, and 18 items were not feasible. In detail, it can be
described as follows: in terms of validity, there were 9 (30%) valid questions and 21
(70%) invalid questions. Then in term of reliability, the level was 0.60 so that the
questions were said to be unreliable. In term of difficulty level, there are 1 (3%) item
in the difficult category, 7 (23%) items in the medium category, and 22 (74%) items in
the easy category. Then in term of discriminating power, there were8 (27%) items
with poor discriminating power, 18 (60%) items with sufficient discriminating power,
3 (10%) items with good discriminating power and 1 (3%) item with discriminating
power (-) or all of them were not good. In term of the effectiveness of distractor, 4
(13%) items were categorized as good, 7 (23%) items were categorized as poor, and
19 (64%) items were categorized as bad.
