This study aims to examine the influence of boards of directors,
independent commissioners, audit committees, managerial ownership, and
institutional ownership on Financial performance as proxied by economic value
added (EVA). The research was conducted on companies listed on the Indonesia
Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2016 to 2019. Using a purposive sampling
technique, a sample of 12 companies was obtained. The data analysis technique
used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that
simultaneously the board of directors, independent commissioners, audit
committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership had a significant
effect on financial performance. The results of the t test show that partially
institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on financial performance.
The board of directors, independent commissioners, audit committee, and
managerial ownership have no significant effect on financial performance.
