Abstract
Pneumonia is inflammation of the lungs caused by infection. Pneumonia can be caused by a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection. Pneumonia is still the main cause of death for infants and toddlers in Indonesia. So that it requires handling and incentive attention appropriately and quickly in areas affected by high pneumonia. Geographical information system (GIS) is one of the tools that can be used to convey information on the spread of disease. Geographical Information System (GIS) also helps analyze the condition of an area against disease to determine actions that must be taken in dealing with a disease. The Geographical Information System (GIS) for the spread of Pneumonia is an Android-based GIS application. This application is directly connected to OpenStreetMap. This GIS application was developed with a waterfall model. The existence of GIS is expected to provide an overview of the spread of pneumonia in Purbalingga Regency.
