The high population growth in urban areas triggers an increase in activity, one of the triggers for increased activity in the transportation sector, the increasing population increases transportation mobility, causing a problem that is often encountered in the transportation system. Parking has become one of the problems lately because it greatly affects the movement of vehicles, where vehicles passing through places that have a high activity rate are hampered by vehicles that will park. In this research, the cost of parking building in Kutasari market was calculated using the MKJI 1997 and payback period. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the construction of a special parking building with an area of 1240 m2 which can accommodate up to 435 vehicles, at a cost of Rp.2.041.179.932 and an average parking income per day of Rp. 2,137,000, -. Breaks even at 3 years 9 months.
