The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of business strategy, earnings management and corporate governance on firm performance. The independent variables used in this study are business strategy, earnings management, and corporate governance (proxied by the board of directors, the independent board of commissioners, the audit committee). The dependent variable used in this study is firm performance. The data collection method uses secondary data in annual reports or financial reports that have been published by various industrial sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, while the analysis used in this study was multiple regression. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it showed that the defender's business strategy has a negative effect on firm performance. Earnings management has no effect on firm performance. The board of directors has a positive effect on firm performance. The independent board of commissioners has no effect on firm performance. The audit committee has no effect on firm performance.
